MilsMessage

MilsMessage is a Windows ® application that provides encrypted message exchange at the highest security level. MilsMessage can be considered as a proprietary e-mail client that provides features like convenient multi-file message handling and message transmission via any SMTP/POP3 messaging system. Additionally, MilsMessage provides message output to files, thus allowing message exchange by using 3 rd party applications.

Features:

  • MilsMessage supports message encryption by using either the unbreakable One Time Key method or a proprietary stream cipher algorithm which meets the highest cryptographic security standards with regard to cycle length, degree of non-linearity and key length. Message encryption with a customized block cipher algorithm is available as an option.

  • The sending and receiving of messages is supported via any SMTP/POP3 based e-mail service. Alternatively, encrypted messages can be stored to files, enabling transmission by PSTN- or HF-Radio terminal programs, LAN/WAN connections, GSM/satellite links or even courier services.

  • MilsMessage supports all languages and any number of attachments. Each Message is continuously encrypted from its creation to its deletion.

  • The popular Windows ® user interface and the look and feel of a standard e-mail client (Inbox, Outbox, Sent Messages, ...) guarantee simple operation with a minimum of training.

  • Access to the MilsMessage application is restricted to users in possession of a valid MilsCard and the corresponding secret password.

  • Thanks to the high encryption speed, even large messages can be protected with minimal delays.

  • The system easily adapts to the customer's existing communication networks. Compatibility with MilsMail allows encrypted e-mail exchange with MS Outlook users.

  • All cryptographic keys are exclusively generated by the integrated true random noise source of the MilsCard . No one else not even mils electronic as the manufacturer will be able to tamper with that sensitive information.
